TDI Air Diluent Deco Closed Circuit Rebreather Course

This is the second entry certification course for divers wishing to utilise an Ambient Pressure Diving's Inspiration / Evolution Closed Circuit Rebreather (CCR) for air diving.

The objective of
CCR diving in Malaysia
the course is to train divers in the benefits, hazards and proper procedures for diving a CCR and to develop basic CCR diving skills to a maximum of 45 metres using air as a diluent for formal decompression diving.

To participate in the TDI Closed Circuit Rebreather Training Course divers must:-
  • Be a minimum of 18 years of age.
  • Show proof of 50 logged open water dives.
  • Minimum certification level of TDI Advanced Nitrox Diver and Deco procedures or recognised equivalent.
Or,
  • Be a minimum of 18 years of age.
  • TDI Air Diluent CCR diver certified or equivalent.
  • 30 hours on the CCR unit.
  • 6 months CCR diving experience.
Closed circuit rebreather courses in Malaysia
The TDI Course includes:-
  • 6 hours of academics and a 2 hour equipment maintenance workshop.
  • 60 minutes of confined water training.
  • 420 minutes of open water training, progressively getting deeper to a maximum depth of 45m.
  • 2 hours of equipment maintenance and strip downs.
The minimum course duration is 5 days.
